Merrick bank apparently is known for closing accounts that aren't used for a year as already stated I have a small recurring charge set up on mine monthly. Feelings on merrick bank i also agree that merrick bank is straight shooter and they don't take advantage of ther customersthey do help people who are rebuilding or starting out with credit with outripping you off. About 15 years ago after crashing and burning and doing a long rebuild i open a merrick creditcard which started out with 1750 limit and today it has a credit limit of 5250
At this point i have total credit limits of 332k and most of my cards have 25k limits or more. They do have a beter reputation than for example credit one or continental finance Merrick bank double your line and mission lane so i was recently discharged from chapter 7 bankruptcy on may 29th It took about 3 weeks, but my credit report finally updated a few days ago
