Irina Nikolaevna Belova (Russian: Ирина Николаевна Белова; née Ilyichova, 27 March 1968 in Angarsk) is a retired heptathlete from Russia. In her early career she represented USSR, with a fourth place at the 1990 European Championships and a bronze medal at the 1991 World Championships. She also competed in the 1991 and 1999 world championships, and the 1998 european indoor championships. A heptathlete, irina belova took up athletics when she was only 12, and first competed internationally at the 1990 european championships, where she finished fourth
